Hot news for all Lupfer-fans in Europe: Girly Grunge was the inspiration behind Markus Lupfer’s Pre Fall 13 collection, which mixes his iconic knitwear and feminine prints with clean and modern silhouettes to create the perfect Autumnal wardrobe. This season, there is a strong focus on fabrics – quilting, washed out wilted floral prints and scuffed gritty glitter give A-line shapes, feminine dresses and biker style jackets an edgier and sexier feel, whilst the party spirit is embodied through high shine black techno fabrics.

Alternatively, oversized silhouettes including shirts and special basics in sweat shirting with glitter paneling detail take on a casual, chic and sporty style. Markus Lupfer continues to explore and refine his signature codes of knitwear with this collection, experimenting with shapes and textures. Key styles include tinsel stripes, chunky waffle knits and large daisy jewel details. Copper, bronze and black feature heavily throughout with highlights of scarlet and acid lime.
